Sustainable Suds Brewery Bus Circuit 2X You asked for it...Sustainable Suds Brewery Bus Circuit is back for another tour!!! This event will be the kickoff of YPWeek in Madison. It's time once again to embark on a journey full of suds and sophistication as we travel to and taste more of the multiple Madison breweries participating in sustainable practices with your hosts, Rotary Club of Madison After Hours & SWANA. This is not your average brewery tour as you will be awe'd by the multiple facets and levels of sustainability of our Madison breweries. Learn how one brewery utilizes a composting program, and how another brewery focuses on energy reductions. You will receive a free beer/cocktail at each location and the Sustainable Suds bus will get us from one ...brewery to the next. Park near the Great Dane Downtown - there is a ramp connected to the Dane, or Block 89 Parking on Doty. Please arrive at Great Dane downtown promptly at 11am & check in with the group downstairs in the cellar. Great Dane will be providing us with beer samples and appetizers so we will have a great start before we hop on the bus! Brewery/Distillery Line Up:

Join Habitat Young Professionals and Rotary After Hours as we build Little Libraries for different Habitat for Humanity of Dane County neighborhoods! Through Little Free Libraries, millions of books are exchanged each year, profoundly increasing access to books for readers of all ages and backgrounds. One of the most successful ways to improve the reading achievement of children is to increase their access to books, especially at home. But according to the U.S. Department of Education, up to 61% of low-income families do not have any books for their kids at home. Little Free Libraries play an essential role by providing 24/7 access to books (and encouraging a love of reading!) in areas where books are scarce. During this volunteer day we will be building several Little Libraries that will be installed in various Habitat neighborhoods throughout Dane County at a later date!
