Sunday, March 19 – Meeting, Cheryl Schiltz
Cheryl is a disability advocate and community consultant here in Madison who will share the challenges living with a disability, importance of self advocacy, resources, and perceptions of people with a disability by those without and effects that has on independent living.
Sunday, March 26 – Service event, Porchlight
Porchlight offers over 300 units of housing at 24 Madison-area locations to families and individuals on a transitional or permanent basis, including assistance with budgeting, apartment maintenance, and employment training skills. We will be assisting with home maintenance and cleanup at one of their housing locations with further details to come.
