You asked for it...Sustainable Suds Brewery Circuit is back for another tour!!! This event will be the kickoff of YPWeek in Madison. It's time once again to embark on a journey full of suds and sophistication as we travel to and taste more of the multiple Madison breweries participating in sustainable practices with your hosts, Rotary Club of Madison After Hours & SWANA. This is not your average brewery tour as you will be awe'd by the multiple facets and levels of sustainability of our Madison breweries. Learn how one brewery utilizes a composting program, and how another brewery focuses on energy reductions. You will receive a free beer or mead at each location. Park near the Great Dane Downtown - there is a ramp connected to the Dane, or Block 89 Parking on Doty.

We'll help to serve its mission of managing undeveloped Lake Mendota shore land to preserve its natural character and provide educational opportunities. We will remove invasive woody shrubs, collect seeds for later planting, put wood chips on trails, or cut brush from trails. Tools and gloves are provided. |

ImaBridge Africa is a 501(c)3 charitable organization established in 2008, serving the poor and less privileged in Nigeria. Fr. Godwin Asuquo, our founding director was born and raised in Nigeria. "Ima" means love in his native Ibibio language...so we Build Bridges of Love from the United States to Africa. Our presentation will give a brief overview of our service projects over the past 10 years in the areas of Health, Education, Clean Water and Microfinance. We will also discuss our international service project for which we hope to apply for a Rotary Global Grant...Clean Water Production & Bottling Facility. |

Madison Breakfast Rotary Volunteer Event: Paint-a-thon at 409 N. Rosa Rd. Please let Brenda Weiss know if you're interested in joining. (Her email is in the members list.) During the last 30 years, thousands of volunteers have worked together to paint more than 530 houses of low-to-moderate income residents in Dane County. Paint-a-thon recipients are often area seniors, veterans, people with disabilities or health issues, and single-parent families who live in Dane County and own their homes. |

Our guest speaker this evening is Edwin Bos, the District Governor of 6250 for 2019-2020. This is a great time to bring guests! Edwin Bos has been a proud member of the Fort Atkinson Rotary club since 2003. He has served on the Board of Directors, as Youth Exchange Officer, as the chair of several club construction projects, as Club President in 2012-13 and as Assistant Governor from 2014-2017. Edwin is a graduate of Fort Atkinson High School, the University of Wisconsin-Madison (BSc Civil Engineering) and the Rotterdam School of Management (MBA). After graduation he spent ten years working for a large Dutch construction company primarily in Amsterdam, Istanbul and the Caribbean. |
