Saturday, December 9th – Service Event: Books for the World
Books for the World Warehouse, 1849 Wright St, Madison
Books for the World is a global literacy project, supervised by Rotarians, that puts used books from the United States that might otherwise be discarded into the hands of children in other countries where educational resources are in short supply. Join us as we sort and pack books at the Wright St. warehouse!
Join us this Thursday as we support the Fitchburg-Verona Rotary Club with their annual Wine Tasting Fundraising Event at Ten Pin Alley! Proceeds will help support local and international programs, including Verona Area High School scholarships and Wisconsin Books for the World.
Help spread the word! Our District is now accepting applications for the Rotary STEP (Short Term Exchange Program), a family to family summer exchange program. High School students in Southern Wisconsin age 15-18 are encouraged to apply by February 1st.
