This Sunday, July 1 marks the beginning of the 2018-2019 Rotary year. As we begin the new year it is a great time for us to reflect on our impressive accomplishments over the past year, including over 400 hours of volunteer work, over 200 households served at the Lussier Food Pantry, and thousands of dollars raised for Polio Plus, Rotary Youth Exchange, and the River Food Pantry!
When 2018-19 Rotary International President Barry Rassin introduced the theme for this year - Be the Inspiration– he stated, “I want you to inspire in your clubs, your Rotarians, that desire for something greater. The drive to do more, to be more, to create something that will live beyond each of us.” We have so much to be proud of and I am confident we will continue to build off of our past successes to broaden our impact in the Madison community and beyond.
This Sunday will be the first of our two strategic planning meetings. During these meetings we will be visualizing what we would like the future of our club to look like and strategizing on how we can build into that vision. These will be energetic and fun meetings that you won’t want to miss.

As we approach year-end, please consider donating to our Rotary Foundation! Regardless of the amount, we'd encourage all of our members to share in Rotary's success in the fight against Polio, or to consider supporting our District Grants with a donation to the Annual Fund.
