Warm weather and sunny days are just around the corner! I hope you're as excited about the spring/summer as I am. We've got a lot of upcoming service events, socials, and meetings over the next few months. With the new year and the many opportunities in front of us, I encourage you all to try something new this year. Whether that's a new service event, finding a speaker your interested in hearing about, or attending one of our socials. You never know when a random March day you'll be told to stay home! On a side note, a member of the Rotaract Club at UW-Madison is looking for a mentor in the biology/pre-medicine area. Monday, March 8th - 14th- World Rotaract Week World Rotaract Week is an annual celebration of the success and the importance of Rotaract in communities around the world. Join the experience 8-14 March to connect with others and share your celebrations. Learn four ways that you can take action and observe World Rotaract Week this year on the Rotaract Facebook page. Saturday, March 13th- Service Event: Lussier Food Pantry Lussier Community Education Center, 55 S Gammon Rd, Madison, 11:45 am- 1:00 pm Volunteer with us at the Lussier Community Center Education Center food pantry. Sunday, March 21st- Club Brunch Meeting: Ukraine Rotary ClubJoin us on Sunday morning to hear from a member of a Rotary Club in Ukraine and the work they are doing on a global grant. Wednesday, March 25th- Social Event: Wine Tasting Madison Club, 5 East Wilson Street, Madison, 6:00pm - 12:00pm Sign up to socialize, taste some cheeses, and more importantly some amazing wines. Saturday, April 17th- Service Event: Book Packing Wright St. Warehouse, 1849 Wright Street, Madison, 9:00am - 12:00pm Volunteer to help the Madison West Town Rotary Club in their effort to put reading materials into the hands of children in other countries where educational resources are in short supply. Space is limited to 12 people. Sunday, April 18th - 24th- District 6250 Conference Zoom Join members from across District 6250 for sessions over the course of the week about the work being done in our district and else where.
