22 Jun 2019 Rotary Night at the Ballpark Jun 22, 2019 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM Join us for Rotary International Night at the Ballpark to cheer on the Madison Mallards! We will get to watch some of the best baseball around, meet other Rotarians in our district, and imbibe in great drinks and food at the Duck Pond at Warner Park. We will have reserved seats in Section 202. There are two ticket options - $27 to include 90 minutes of all you can eat and drink or $12 to include a Mallards hat and souvenir cup. 29 Jun 2019 Serve the World Volleyball Tournament Jun 29, 2019 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM On June 29th, "service above self" means hitting the ball overhand! Come support Rotary Youth Exchange at our "Serve the World" volleyball tournament by bringing a team, volunteering as a ref, or just cheering on your fellow guests and Rotarians. 14 Jul 2019 Service Event - UW Lakeshore Nature Preserve Jul 14, 2019 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Join our work party at the UW Lakeshore Nature Preserve! We'll help to serve its mission of managing undeveloped Lake Mendota shore land to preserve its natural character and provide educational opportunities. We will remove invasive woody shrubs, collect seeds for later planting, put wood chips on trails, or cut brush from trails. Tools and gloves are provided.
21 Jul 2019 Club Meeting - ImaBridge Africa Jul 21, 2019 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM ImaBridge Africa is a 501(c)3 charitable organization established in 2008, serving the poor and less privileged in Nigeria. Fr. Godwin Asuquo, our founding director was born and raised in Nigeria. "Ima" means love in his native Ibibio language...so we Build Bridges of Love from the United States to Africa. Our presentation will give a brief overview of our service projects over the past 10 years in the areas of Health, Education, Clean Water and Microfinance. We will also discuss our international service project for which we hope to apply for a Rotary Global Grant...Clean Water Production & Bottling Facility.
