Hello fellow Rotarians,

As 2019 comes to a close, we can look back on the past year and be proud of our club's accomplishments:

  • One of our top priorities has been growing membership, and we've gained three new members.
  • We had a very successful Bucky Beads fundraiser this fall, bringing in over $1,600 for our exchange student program.
  • We donated our time to many local organizations, including the Lussier Food Pantry, River Food Pantry, UW Rotaract Club, UW Arboretum, Books for the World, Ironman Wisconsin, and Habitat for Humanity.
  • Many of our members continue to serve in district roles, including on the Foundation Board and Youth Exchange Board.
  • We spent the last several months hosting Rotary-centric speakers at our meetings, so I hope we are ready to really come together in 2020 and define some new projects for our club.
I could continue, but I want to bring your attention to an awesome accomplishment that you can continue to support through the end of the year: our club is on track to be the highest per capita in donations to the Rotary Foundation in our district. We are on par with Janesville right now at about $160 per member. We currently have dollar-and points-matching going on. Every dollar you donate will be matched 1:1 (up to $1,000 total) and tiered points-matching for up to 5:1 points per dollar. See my previous email or the club website for details, and email me or Dave Warren when you've donated so we can get you the matching points.

See you on Sunday!

2019-2020 President

They are a non-partisan organization, and are fortunate that their proposed amendment has successfully passed the Wisconsin State Legislature twice with strong bipartisan support.
