Happy New Year everyone,
2018 was a year to celebrate and I have a feeling that 2019 is going to even better. We have some great events in the works for our club and with hard work and some Rotary pride we should have no problem finding success again this year. I look forward to continuously improving and growing both personally and together as a club with you throughout the year.
In addition to out upcoming events listed below, we will also be kicking off the planning for our YP Week events and our flag football tournament. Let us know how you'd like to be involved - the better we work together, the greater impact we can make.

Sunday, January 6th – Club Meeting: Big Brothers Big Sisters

Since 1966, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dane County has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 6 through 18, in our Dane County community. They develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people. Join us for the meeting to hear more!
Saturday, January 12th – Service Event: Habitat for Humanity ReStore
HFH ReStore, 4207 Monona Dr, Monona, 10:00am - 12:30pm
We will help Habitat for Humanity in the ReStore East. Tasks may inlcude stocking and organizing tile, consolidating and sorting doors, measuring and labeling carpet, moving/rearranging cabinet sets, cleaning, and prepping items for the sales floor.

We have the exceptional honor of hearing from our very own Rotary Youth Exchange student Erick. Our club is sponsoring Erick as an exchange student at Madison East High School during the 2018-2019 school year. He'll tell us about his life in Indonesia and share some of the experiences he's had thus far during his time as an exchange student in Madison.
