Happy New Year Everyone!
 
Please join us for our first meeting of 2018 as Marilyn Bazinski provides an overview of the Opioid Epidemic.  Note that all of our upcoming meetings are now scheduled at Brocah for the remainder of this Rotary year.
 
We are still looking for a few volunteers at The Lussier Center food pantry this Saturday.  Please sign up here if you can make it!
 
Finally, we have placed our Cascade Ski Trip reservation, but we did reserve a few extra spots.  Please email Mac or our club email ASAP if you would still like to RSVP!

Sunday, January 7 – Club Meeting:  Marilyn Bazinski, Opioid Epidemic

Brocah Irish Pub, 7 W. Main St., Madison

Marilyn Bazinski is pain specialist at UW Hospitals, currently working on a doctorate in Nursing Practice.  She will present an overview of the Opioid Epidemic in America: a definition of opioids, history and epidemiology, practice of prescribing, regulation and what can be done to quell the epidemic.

Saturday, January 20 – Service Event:  Porchlight

Porchlight Eastside Site, 1708 Thierer Rd, Madison

Porchlight offers over 300 units of housing at 24 Madison-area locations to families and individuals. We will be helping to sort donated goods at Porchlight's eastside site.
