Good morning,

What an exciting September we had! We filled it with ecological restoration, wine tasting, Bucky beads sales, brunch, and food pantry volunteering. People often say that they can’t believe how many events and projects we do. I, too, am wowed constantly by the power of our small but growing club.  Keep up the great work everyone!

As for what’s upcoming:
  • There are a few open Bucky bead shifts for the Badger game at 6:30pm on Saturday
    • All funds raised go to Rotary Youth Exchange. Sign up here.
  • On Sunday we will be welcoming Kelly from Fetch Wisconsin Rescue to our club meeting. If you like dogs, this meeting is for you! Additional information below.
We’ve also kicked off the initial stage of planning for our holiday party in early December. Let us know if you have ideas that you’d like to incorporate and if you would like to join in the planning.

Have a great weekend and we’ll see you on Sunday!

Fetch Wisconsin’s mission is to rehome and rehabilitate at-risk dogs.  It started in 2013 with 4 volunteers and has now grown to a volunteer base of 800! Volunteers foster and transport dogs, coordinate fundraising events, and support the vision of Fetch to create a society in which every dog is valued and provided proper care and compassion.  In their first year, they reached 100 adoptions and they are on track to hit 1,500 adoptions this summer!  Join us to hear about the great work this organization is doing in our community.
