Greetings fellow Rotatians,

 

I hope everyone is having a chance to get out and enjoy the long, languid days of late summer, it seems there is music outside everywhere one turns, be it on the Capital square, at the Memorial Union, or at the many block and neighborhood festivals throughout the city.

 

Summer also gives us another opportunity for volunteering. Erin has completed the paperwork (thank you Erin) to have our club work volunteer shifts at the Madison Ironman event on the long weekend of September 8-11. If we can work 10 shifts the club will earn more than a few bucks. We can sign up at Ironman Wisconsin. Please remember this is also a Lussier weekend and we will need a few folks to work at the food pantry.
