Greetings fellow AH Rotarians,

 

And welcome to springtime. Despite a minor setback of a little snow tonight, the signs of the season are all around, with the trees coming into leaf, and with the early flowers everywhere to be seen. The community garden and the sailing club have both started claiming my time, both good indicators of warmer weather to come.

 

April stared with a flurry of activity but will end on a quieter note. I have just a few items to mention. Club specific, we will be having a 5th Sunday brunch social on Sunday, April 30, from 10:30 to noon at Everly on Monroe St. And there are always opportunities to sign up for shifts at the Lussier, the next session will be on Saturday, May 13, from 10:45 am to 12:15 pm. 

 

We are rapidly approaching the last chance to sign up for TriCon 2023, which will take place at the La Crosse Center in La Crosse on April 27-29. It will be a good opportunity to meet with Rotarians from across the state, to take inspiration from the speakers.

 

The RI webinar series on Cultivating Effective Projects continues with a session this coming Thursday, April 20, at 10 am. This week they will discuss Finding Project Partners and Resources, and registration can be found here. For anyone who wants to see the previous session on Project Planning, a recording can be viewed here.

 

Please join us this Monday, April 17, at the Park Hotel or on zoom at the usual times, 5:15 for the social and 5:45 for the meeting, to hear from Ben Nelson of the UW Madison Rotaract Club on that club's recent activities.
