Hey everyone,

Hope you are all doing well! This Saturday we are volunteering at Second Harvest to help pack food boxes for food pantries in the southern Wisconsin area. We are looking for two more people to volunteer. If you or anyone you know would like to volunteer with our club, you can let Brad Matthiesen know.

On Sunday we are also having our normal club meeting with guest speakers from UW Madison's Earth Partnership program. They will be discussing their initiatives to involve educators and learners of all ages and backgrounds in community-based ecological restoration. During the summer our club volunteers to help clean up both the Lakeshore Path and the UW Arboretum, so these speakers and the topic are very important to us.

Later this month on the 24th, we will be packing books as part of our club's signature project - Libraries in Laundromats. The boxes we will be packing will become the libraries themselves and will help provide reading materials for local area children who currently might not have access to their normal libraries.

As always if you have any suggestions for volunteer opportunities or speakers, let me know!

Best,

Connor Sheedy
