Newsletter for Nov. 21, 2022
Greetings fellow AH Rotarians,

Hopefully, everyone has managed this first taste of winter. it seemed to come as quite a shock after the exceeding mild first weeks of the month. And what a day for my thermostat to decide to take a vacation.

We have one more Badger home football game on Saturday the 26th, but there will be no Bucky Bead sales that day. I am pleased with the results of the two sales that were conducted, and the experience should help us get started with the sales a bit earlier next year. I would hope for four to five sessions that can be held when the temperatures are still more on the mild side. I offer a big thanks to all who participated this season.

There is an opportunity for a friendship exchange coming up, to India, February 4-14, let me know if you are interested and I will forward the information to you.

November is Rotary Foundation month. The Foundation is the financial backbone of Rotary's philanthropic endeavors, everything from Polio Plus to clean water to educational efforts and peace initiatives. November is a great time for us to renew our commitments to these important causes. Please, donate generously.

Please, join us on Monday, November 21, in person at the Park Hotel on the square or on zoom at the usual times (5:15 social and 5:45 meeting) to hear from Sara Eskrich of Democracy Found about suggestions for fair elections.
