Greetings fellow After Hours Rotarians,

The holiday season is upon us.  Hopefully, everyone had the chance to share Thanksgiving with friends and family, and no one is too stressed by the prospects of Christmas gift shopping for those same friends and family. I find all the lighted displays help to make up for the lack of sunshine at this dark time of year.

As I suspect you all have seen, Danielle has decided to move on from Rotary and from the After Hours club. She was a pleasure to have as a member and friend, and we should all wish her well in her future endeavors. But her departure leaves us with the task, once again, of finding a new president-elect, that is someone who will take the lead of our club come next July for the start of the new Rotary year. I hope as many members as possible will attend this coming Monday, in person or by zoom, to start this important discussion.

As I mentioned at the last meeting, there is an opportunity for a friendship exchange coming up, to India, February 4-14, let me know if you are interested and I will forward the information to you. As a timely reminder of the benefits of friendship exchange, Dean Ryerson will be joining us at Monday's meeting to discuss exactly this topic. Please join us on Monday, December 5, in person at the Park Hotel on the square or on zoom at the usual times (5:15 social and 5:45 meeting) to hear from our former district governor.
