Greetings fellow AH Rotarians,

Happy Holidays to all.  With Thanksgiving already past and the Yuletide rapidly approaching, I hope everyone has had and will again have the chance to gather with friends and family. The holiday festivities and decorations can help us to pass through the dark and often very cold days around the winter solstice.

The holiday season is typically a quieter time for Rotary, but events at district level will start up again shortly after the new year. The Vibrant Club Workshop will take place on January 21 in La Crosse, and it is open for all to attend, whether in person or via zoom. And the Tri-Con meeting is scheduled in April, also in La Crosse.

Thanks to a slight miscommunication on my part, no speaker was scheduled to present at our Monday meeting. Yet I hope that many of you will be able to join us at the Park Hotel on the square or by zoom at usual times (5:15 social and 5:45 meeting). We can have a somewhat extended social time (it is, after all, the holiday season), and in the place of a speaker, I would invite everyone to come forward with ideas for strengthening and regrowing our club.

Please note, there will be no meeting on Monday, January 2. We will gather again on January 16. And please check to see that we have sufficient volunteers to staff our January session at the Lussier.
