To all those who served our country and continue to serve, Happy Veterans Day! As the end of the year draws closer, I've been thinking about what we've been able to do over the past year and what we still have left to do this year. The obstacles that we've faced this year from not being able to meet in person to changes in the way we can volunteer, we've been able to keep our regular meeting schedule, continue to volunteer in the community, stay connected, and even grow as a club. I'm extremely proud of our club and each of our members individually. I want to keep the leadership, commitment, and growth you've displayed this past year moving into 2021. One of the requirements from Rotary International for clubs that want to be eligible for future grants is to meet certain fundraising levels. I'd like personally ask that anyone who is able, please donate to the Rotary International Annual Fund. Our goal is $100 per member of our after hours club. The Annual Fund provides a future return for our club in the form of grants that we can use for various community needs. As an example, this past year we were able to help provide funds to Partita in Waunakee to help 3D print components to face masks and shields for front line workers in the early days of the pandemic.
